My 'baby' Kaitee is 2 today!

Two years ago today Kaitee came flying into the world (literally)! I went into labor at 2:30 am, it started as cramps that went on for about 45 minutes before they got really painful. By 4:30 we were rushing to the hospital! When we got there I was being told not to push. They checked my cervix and I was already almost 10 cm. She was born within 45 minutes of us getting to the hospital (just 3 hours from the first cramps until I got to hold her in my arms). At 5:25 a.m. Kaitlyn was born weighing in at 8 lbs 7 ozs and was 19.5 inches long. I remember the way it felt to hold my own baby in my arms again. Since Caleb had passed my arms ached to hold my OWN baby again. I saw so much of Caleb in her and I know she has been a big part of my healing. Once she was born the fear set in that I would lose her too. I would check her like crazy to make sure she was still breathing. I even had a movement monitor on her that would alarm if she was too still. I remember the day the "became older" than Caleb. I breathed a BIG sigh of relief. It then hit me that she would be ok. She has bought me so much joy and I am so proud of everything she does. She is a sassy little girl that loves Winnie the Pooh and her baby sister Brooke. She is the best sister Brooke could have and Brooke is lucky to have her watching over her. I can't believe that two years have passed but I am so grateful for the miracle God gave to my family. I look at my girls everyday and ask God why he felt We deserved to have these two perfect girls in our lives! Kaitee is now talking up a storm. It seems that overnight Kaitee's speech has exploded! Everyday she says something new that amazes me! She quotes Pooh which cracks me up. She randomly say 'los you(love you)" which melts my heart. I love the way she interacts with Brooke. Brooke copies everything she does. I love to just sit and watch them play together! Here is a fun 2 year old moment we had 2 days ago: I took the girls to Walmart by myself. It was the first time I have taken them somewhere alone besides to friends houses. I had Brooke in a carrier strapped to my chest and Kaitee was walking holding my hand. the minute we walked into Walmart Kaitee fell to the floor screaming "Daddy". I had to drag her out of the way of the entrance. I couldn't lift her because I had a 24 lbs baby strapped to my chest! Then I had to throw her into the cart while she tried over and over again to climb out of. I would have left but this was the ONLY time I had to pick up Kaitee's bike before her birthday so I had to do it with a screaming kid. It was by far her worst fit yet. She had spit hanging out of her mouth (which she has NEVER done before and has yet to do since). Everyone of course stared like she was the first child to ever do this. Then some old lady walked by and said to Kaitee "whats wrong you poor little thing" like I had beat her to make her act like that! It really irked me. I wish everyone would have ignored her because when we do she gets over her fits faster. While we were waiting to get help (in the Site-to-store area) she finally calmed down(because no one was back there to feed into her fit) and she kept saying sorry and kissing me, it was tough to stay mad. So I have decided I will wait to take them out alone like that again! Enough of my rambling. Here are some pictures and a video.
